Katherine brings a wealth of varied experience with her to the position of Assistant Director of Community Engagement. With a degree in Marketing from the University of Houston, she has worked in ad agencies in both traditional and digital advertising and at one point owned her own agency. In the late 90’s, Katherine transitioned to the non-profit world in Dallas, then Amarillo, where she has applied her business acumen to the Amarillo Opera (Director of Marketing), Amarillo Youth Choirs (Executive Director), and now Amarillo Children’s Home. Katherine is passionate about helping others and is excited to build community partners to further the mission for ACH.
In her spare time, Katherine loves to travel. She had her first passport stamp at the age of 9 and by the age of 20 had traveled to a dozen different countries. She has twenty years of experience leading group tours and destination travel and, as such, started Panhandle Passage where she creates experiences for groups of all ages. ACH just became her most permanent group!
In 2023, Katherine Stribling will marry her fiancé, Tony, and become Katherine Galdean
