THE LIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE.

She came to us in spring, all hard edges and armor. Battle-scarred and ragged by life on the home-front – every look and posture a conflicting cry of “I don’t like you” and “please see me.”

WE FIGHT against these voices of the past because WE BELIEVE in who our kids truly are.When THEY SEE in themselves what WE BELIEVE about them it is CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION.

COURAGEOUS YOUNG PRINCE

There was once a young prince who desperately wanted to be adopted by a family who would love him and be his forever. Having spent three years in foster care, his heart yearned for a permanent mother and father, but his desire could not be.

Each child is unique with unique needs and abilities. Because of this, WE EXPLORE.WE EXPLORE what and how to reach each child, helping them become the fullest versions of themselves – Realizing their Great Value and Being a Blessing to Others.

We all get so few chances with our kids to step out of the ordinary, out of the day-to-day sameness of breakfast, school, work, homework, dinner, chores, bed, repeat. Sometimes, at ACH, we only get one.

In the day to day – in our words – with our actions – with our time – WE DO.Through the day to day, we change a child’s life and cause generational change.
