We believe in who our kids can become. We believe they each have unique value and purpose in this world; a value and purpose that is given to them by their creator.

A hero is important because they do the difficult things. A hero can change the story drastically for one person.

All of these we risk because we believe in who our kids are destined and created to be.

THE DIVINE WORK OF REDEMPTION

We are incredibly proud of the work we do with foster kids. We are proud of our mission statement and our team, the steps we take to accomplish that mission statement and the people working along-side us.

We fight against these voices of the past because we believe in who our kids truly are. When THEY SEE in themselves what we believe about them it is CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION.

A BETTER LIFE

I showed up on the doorstep of Union Cottage a scared 11-year old. At the door were two house parents and six boys ranging from age 9 to 17 staring me in the face ready to welcome me.

Each child is unique with unique needs and abilities. Because of this, we explore. We explore what and how to reach each child, helping them become the fullest versions of themselves – Realizing their Great Value and Being a Blessing to Others.

A JOURNEY TOWARD COURAGE

He wades in shin deep, stoops over to dunk the top of his head in the water, climbs out and resumes his position on the wall.

In the day-to-day – in our words – with our actions – with our time — WE DO. Through the day-to-day, we change a child’s life and cause generational change.

ACH carefully stewards every dollar raised and ensures all mission activity goes toward supporting kids in need. Foster care contracts require a high level of reporting to external agencies, directly impacting our administrative costs.
