Crystal graduated from West Texas A&M University with a BS in Sports and Exercise Science, which led her to teach PE at the same elementary school for 14 years. She went on to earn her MA in Counseling in 2019 and completed full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2022. Along the way, she has served as a Dual Campus School Counselor (K-2) for Borger ISD, a Mental Health Counselor with the Campus Alliance for Telehealth Resources (CATR) supported by TCHATT – bringing counseling to rural communities with limited access to care. And as a Lead Therapist on the Behavioral Health Child and Adolescent Unit at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, she walked alongside children and teens in acute crisis.
Crystal considers it an honor to have worked alongside those who’ve faced trauma, abuse, and life’s hardest disappointments. We are always evolving into what God wants us to be, helping others see their potential and helping them grow toward their best selves which is her greatest joy.
Her goal every day is simple: get up, be better, do better, and remember that today is a good day for a good day.
Outside of work, Crystal loves spending time with her amazing husband, their four adult children and their spouses but especially with their one very loved grandbaby. She is fully embracing life as a happy “empty nester”.
‘Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!’
