Director of Development
As Director of Development, Mattie brings eight years of nonprofit experience and a deep commitment to the Amarillo community and the people who call it home. A proud Texas panhandle native, she feels fortunate to build her career in the community that has shaped her and her family.
Mattie is grateful to work in a community as generous and philanthropic as Amarillo. One of her favorite parts of her role is getting to know people, learning what they care about, and helping connect them with opportunities to support the causes that mean the most to them. She enjoys seeing the relationships that grow from those connections and being part of the generosity that makes so much possible for ACH.
Outside of work, Mattie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially cheering on her daughter at her events. She loves spending time in the water, getting out on the golf course when she can, and is always up for a good trivia night with friends, where her competitive spirit is sure to shine.
Mattie and her family enjoy being involved in the Amarillo community, from supporting local theatre to worshiping and serving through Polk Street Methodist Church. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of ACH and to help bring the generosity of this community alongside the work of restoring the identity of children and helping them realize their great value.
‘If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.’
