Eat, Drink & Restore

Thank you to all who joined us on Tuesday, April 17 at our Eat, Drink, & Restore Event to help restore the identities of local foster children!

Amarillo Children’s Home is 94 years into this journey of making a difference in the lives of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect. Our mission is to restore the identity of children so they will realize their great value and become a blessing to others. It’s a message our entire community can believe in and get behind.

On Tuesday, April 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., we hosted our very first Eat, Drink, & Restore event at the Esquire Jazz Club. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres provided by United Supermarkets, drinks, and community.

Our speaker for the evening, ACH President Darrin Murphy, inspired guests with stories of our kids and challenged them to become a Restorer by giving $100 monthly to directly impact one of our kids on an ongoing basis.

The first $15,000 raised (and through the month of April) will be matched by a foundation in Austin!

Overall proceeds from the event will help ACH provide a home that models what a healthy family looks like for the 48 children currently living with us.

If you would like to become a RESTORER [AND HAVE YOUR DONATION MATCHED], you can do so HERE>>
