Carpe Every Diem
Echo
When night has fallen When fear is common Still You’re calling me
When faith is lost And my hope exhausted You will be my strength
When my mind says I’m not good enough God, You’re enough for me, yeah
I’ve decided I’m not giving up ‘Cause You won’t give up on me You won’t give up on me
Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo
Your love is holding on and it won’t let go I feel it breaking out like an echo
Echo in my soul
Elevation Worship
A song is just a song… until it’s not – until it morphs into an anthem that grabs hold of time and space and compels you to shout it out from the depths of your heart and lungs. This summer, a fragment of heaven became brightly visible when our kid embraced the song “Echo” with their souls – worship made more poignant by the pain these children have lived.
Welcome to summer at ACH – where events are just events… until they’re not. We love our summers! With the kids home from school, we get so much more time to partner with God in weaving events into opportunities; our mission becomes even more vivid as it is lived out with such intensity.
To restore the identity of children so they can realize their great value and be a blessing to others.
We create intentional come-alive moments – where kids are challenged – where they lower their guard – where they trust a little more – where laughter fills – where childhood happens – where community is built – where God enters – where change takes place – where love flows.

We get summer rolling right off with STIR, our weekly time to gather together for dinner, games, worship, a message and playing outside while the sun goes down.
And let us consider how to STIR up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
During FAMILY CAMP, we escape for five days in the mountains to be challenged, children and adults alike, to find ourselves and to embrace who we are in Christ. Here, each year without fail, we grow into a huge crazy family.
MISSION WEEK wraps up our summer as together we impact our community and are a blessing to others. Our kids always shine during this week. No matter the work, they approach it with a joy of giving that is simply beautiful.
Mixed in are lazy pool days and family trips, lounging in hammocks and deep conversations. By the end, our amazing houseparents and staff are happily exhausted, content that we have made each moment count for each child we serve.
